The inauguralEsquire Travel Awardshit this week, and it seems like brands were on a bit of a vacation. When I’m putting togetherthis column, I’m usually overrun with bullshit from all over the place—a new hard seltzer, another celebrity launch, collabs I never asked for. But this week, it was tastefully mellow.
No one was trying to do too much. The working man desk jockey in me, the one that has to put together a weekly shopping column, finds that annoying.
