Jackson Olson might be the next cast member to join season 35 ofDancing With the Stars.
DWTSjudge Derek Hough has interacted with Jackson’s posts, leading fans to believe he’d be the third person to join the season 35 cast.
Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller were previously confirmed to be on the show.
If you’re aDancing With the Starsfan (hi, same), you’re no doubt shaking with anticipation trying to find out who the next person is to join the season 35 cast. The good news is that the internet has already done some sleuthing, and the announcement could be coming any day now.
Fans online think that TikToker Jackson Olson from the Savannah Bananas is the next person afterSummer House’s Ciara Miller andLove Island’s Maura Higgins. The first clue that fans pointed to Jackson’s recent Instagram post, in which he said the last few months of his life has been pretty sweet.
“I have been so happy the last couple months and everything feels so new and exciting for the first time in a long time,” he shared toInstagramon April 10. “My life is going to change a lot in the next year but in the best ways possible (yes there are a couple ways👀) and I can’t wait to share all of it with you soon.”
He added, “I promise I’ll stop being so mysterious soon but you’re gonna have to wait a little while longer 😉.” And guess who popped into the comments section of the post! None other thanDWTSjudge Derek Hough, who commented, “👀.”
Less than a month later on May 7, Jackson shared anInstagram Reelof himself dancing with text above his head that read, “Jackson when can you share the secret you’ve been keeping from us?” He captioned the post, “Soon…👀,” along with the hashtags “#secret, #baseball, #NYC, #reveal.”
From there, everyone was p much convinced. “Considering Derek threw him a mini disco ball when he guest starred I’m assuming it’s DWTS 🕺🏻 🪩!” one IG user wrote, while another added, “@dancingwiththestars better have signed this guy up! The fanbase alone is gonna be wild! 💃🕺”
FWIW, Jackson has been manifesting this for a while. He did a mock interview TikTok video back in December, in which he said he wouldn’t mind going on the show. Olson first expressed his desire to join the reality competition show in aTikTokposted in December 2025.
“Jackson, would you go onDancing With the Starsnext season?” he captioned the video, before replying “No I wouldn’t, it’s just not my style.”
Of course he was joking, with all the next video cuts featuring clips of him dancing. The caption for the post read, “Long story short…yes, yes I would.”
